At this point they are able to distinguish people through hearing their voices. Though love objects, would prefer to see a person. Also, the infant can be easily startled by loud noises.

At this stage the infant can now follow items instead of completly going off reflexes.

At this period of time the child can now see the world in color and can also begin to grasp items and pull them closer instead of acting off of reflexes.
