    Baby Jesus's Intuitive thought stage.
    Intuitive thought is Piaget's substage preoperational thinking in which children learn things by asking lots of questions such, how?And have older adult answers their questions ( pp. 243).
    My virtual baby, was 4 years old when his intuitive thought occured. He was so curious to know everything.He held conversations, ask questions, and listens to books stories. Intuitive thought occurs between age 4-7 years. It helps Kids think logically,critically, understand the world, and hold conversations.
  • SEIF RECOGNITION

    SEIF RECOGNITION
    SEIF RECOGNITION: It is the ability of babies to identify themselves in the mirror as one’s self (pp.203). It helps to know that babies are mentally sound, and it improves their mental development. It occurs between 15months – 18months of age. My baby developed self-recognition at 15 months. He points at himself in the mirror whenever he stood in front of the mirror.
  • Selective Association (SA))

    Selective Association (SA))
    SA is childhood stage when kids select the gender to associate with( pp.319).My virtual baby's selective association started at age 6. He learned to take turns, handles his emotion, and do the right thing at the write time. The normal age for "SA" is age 6. "SA" helps children to socialize with peers, deal with aggression, and helps in academic orientation.

    Transitve inference (TI)
    TI is the stage a child would be able to place an object in logical order (pp.296). My baby logically placed objects at age 6. He utilized his initiative well by placing objects accordingly. Children normally reach TI between age 5-7. TI helps kids to reason logically, and systematically.
  • AGE GRADE

    AGE GRADE
    AGE GRADE: Age grade is a social union in which children of similar age are grouped together (pp. 321). This for most children start at 0 month when an infant is in a day care. My Baby was first grouped with his age grades in preschool at 3 years of age. This helps then learn things that are appropriate to their age, and helps in socialization.
  • SOCIAL COMPARISON

    SOCIAL COMPARISON
    SOCIAL COMPARISON (SC): SC is the process in which children determine their personal and social worth based on how they describe themselves in relation to other children (pp.312). It mostly starts between ages 6 to 7 years. It helps motivate children in terms of good behavior. My baby developed social comparison at age six years; he compares his physical activities with his friends in a fairly large group. He shows that he can write poems more than others, and shows his educational skill,
  • CLIQUE

    CLIQUE
    CLIQUE: Is situations in which small group of friends that are familiar to each other create a regular social group, and sort out things together (pp.376). My baby started this at the age of 12, he hanged out with friends, and plays video games with friends, hanged out at mall with friends. Most children develop clique at the age of about 9years. It is good because it helps in socialization.
  • DEFERRED IMITATION

    DEFERRED IMITATION
    DEFERRED IMITATION: is the stage children repeat actions that they witnessed from people at an earlier time (pp. 188). At 18 months old, My baby developed deferred imitation, he plays (answer) with his toy phones because he always sees me answering a phone. This shows that he imitates whatever I do. Most kids develop deferred imitation at 18months, but they imitate facial expression at about 6 weeks. This helps babies to learn important things and also practice how to do it by themselves.
  • SYMBOLIC FUNCTION

    SYMBOLIC FUNCTION
    SYMBOLIC FUNCTION: This develops between 2- 4 years old when a toddler first develops representational thoughts and is capable of using symbols to represent world (pp. 242). Symbolic function helps children’s cognitive development. My baby developed symbolic function at age 3, he uses symbols to represent things, he tells detailed stories about pictures, he counts, and really reasons good.
  • GENDER IDENTITY

    GENDER IDENTITY
    GENDER IDENTITY: is individual's private sense and subjective understanding of their own gender. This begins at about age 18 -30 years (pp. 204). Gender identity helps toddlers to socialize with their genders. My baby developed gender identity at pre-school at age 3. He prefers playing with boys rather than girls, and it helps him to learn morals of right and wrong.
  • CLASSIFICATION

    CLASSIFICATION
    CLASSIFICATION: This develops between ages 4-7 years when young children have the ability to comprehend that objects can be part of more than one cognitive group (pp.242). Classification helps to develop reasoning skills, and also helps in acquisition and ordering of information from understanding. My baby developed classification at age 5 years old. He was able to classify colors such as blue, red, white, and he was capable of building blocks.
  • TELEGRAPHIC SPEECH (TS)

    TELEGRAPHIC SPEECH (TS)
    TS occurs between 18 months to 24 months when toddlers develop their first word combinations, which are normally two words (pp.195). Telegraphic speech helps to modify toddler’s English, shows initial knowledge of word orders, get the right nouns, and verbs. My baby develops telegraphic speech at 19 months when he was able to join to words together. For instance, he was able to say “my car”.
  • SERIATION

    SERIATION
    SERIATION: It is the stage by which young children were able to arrange things in a reasonable order (pp. 295). Seriation occurs between ages 3-7 years. It enhances cognitive development of young children. My baby developed seriation at age 4years, he was able to sort objects according to sizes, colors, shapes, shortest/longest, thinnest / thickest, and types.
  • TIME OUT (TO).

    TIME OUT (TO).
    TO: It is a punishment used to modify child’s misbehavior which involves temporarily separating the child from activities or from others for few minutes. A child is required to sit quiet in a chosen place for a short time (pp. 263).Time out helps to modify behavior of young children. My baby got his first time out at a latter age, 8 years old. He suddenly stated misbehaving at age 8,he fought at school, broke school rules, argues a lot, left his school works unfinished. It occurs at 2yrs mostly.
  • FALLING IN LOVE

    FALLING IN LOVE
    FALLING IN LOVE: This is a stage when two people involve themselves in a romantic relationship (pp. 378). This occurs in most children between 12years- 18 years. It helps them share and sort out their emotional problems. My baby fell in love with a girl at the age of 16 years; he dated her, and hanged out with her.
