(Denenburg 74).
    This relates to the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire because if the conditions were made better then, the fire wouldn't have happened at all.

    I believe that the overall theme of the books are that people die, you can still learn from them. In the book So Far From Home, Mary dies but all the readers still learned from her diary explaining the conditions and lives of many Irish Immigrants. In War Horse, Captian Nickolas teaches to stand up to yourself, to be brave, and to give respect to others. In The Lord of the Nutcracker Men, the mom dies but teaches the son about being careful and safe. No matter what, you can learn from the dead.
