    This is my timeline of 7 of some of the inventions during the Industrial Revolution.
  • The Steamboat

    The Steamboat
    The first steamboat was invented by John Fitch, and was first used on theDelaware river, which runs through New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. Steamboats were used to transport people and goods. The First succesful steamboat was invented by Robert Fulton in 1807.
  • Cotton Gin

    Cotton Gin
    Cotton Gin was invented by Eli Whitney. Cotton Gin was invented in the United States. The purpose of cotton gin was to speed up the process of making Cotton Fiber.
  • Sewing Machine

    Sewing Machine
    The first person to invent the sewing machine was Elias Howe. The sewing machine was invented in America. the sewing machine made a mass production in clothing.
  • Dynamite

    Dynamite
    Dynamite was invented by the Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel. It wsaq invented sometime between 1864 and 1867, when the invention was pattented. Dynamite was invented to be a safe way to use nitro-glycreine. Dynamite is used for blasting tunnels. This was invented in Sweden.

    Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. The telephone was invented at Boston, Massechusets. The terlephone was used for speaking telegraphically, as Bell put it.
  • Lightbulb

    Lightbulb
    The lightbulb was invented by Thomas Edison. The lightbulb was invented in New York, where Edison had a light company. The lightbulb was made for a safe use of a light in people's homes.
  • First Airplane

    First Airplane
    The first airplane was invented by the Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur. The fisrt succesful flight was in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. When the airplane was invented, The Wright Bothers realised that they had to create propulsion.
