Found comic life on my computer.
-
Came up with disaster drive and created my first few comics.
-
Re-created some comics to make them better.
-
I made a comic of all the characters going to the pool and over using a joke about sunglasses.
-
I created 3 pages of comics to add on.
-
Showed the backstory of some characters that is important to the end plot.
-
Finished my main comic and started drawing.
-
Continued through my comics with my art.
-
I drew through some pannels of disaster drive in different art styles.
-
I went to see James Dashner talk about his writing.
-
I drew some different symbles to add more emotion to my drawings.
-
I drew through 3 pages of disaster drive.
-
This friday I helped my friend beta test his game, as well as getting some drawings done.
-
I drew through 2 pages of art, and drew a main character in a wheel chair, something new.
-
Mr. Donald showed me image blender to possibly continue drawing in there.
-
I desided to import my drawings onto the computer from a color scanner at home.
-
Discovered Khan Acadamy and made basic shapes like squares and lines.
-
I learned how to make more advanced drawings in Khan Acadamy through colors, and getting rid of outlines.
-
I learned how to make simple repeating animations, which piqued my interest.
-
With Ms. Darnell Gabe and some testers went to the library to work on his game, which gave me a fear of zebras. I also figured out my partner, Xander, for the hour of code.
-
I learned different types of coding at once, Python and Java script, so with both at hand I was ready to make animations over spring break.
-
I learned how to put bigs chuncks of code into one word, so it would be a breeze to create flash games, just running one word instead of typing out a big thing.
-
I worked on Edmodo's python course, which is very different from Java as is it much more difficult.
-
I learned how to slightly tinker with my already make functions just in case I messed something up with the location somehow. It would also work if I wanted to make an animation from a drawing or a function.
-
I worked on agent sheets to develop frogger in 3-D for the hour of code week.
-
I worked on Khan Academy with if and else statements which will be important for flash games.
-
I worked on the frogger game more indepth, and was able to make a 3-D frog with blowing up my origanal top down picture. I also made a grotto for the frog to end in. This was part of the hour of code.
-
The week to work on coding an hour a day and teaching others about coding. I was able to complete two hours and teach my partner Xander a bunch about coding that he was very interested in.
-
For the hour of code I worked on code combat- where I used coding and cords to fight enemies, using certain commands to save some people and fight others. I was also able to yell at the enemy to aggrivate them.
-
Today in independent studies I learned how to make my own quiz game using code. I can most certainly make a quiz about anything I want, and I got a hour of code certificate. I am going to use my free time to make quiz games now that I know a little more about coding.
-
Today I worked on running lines for the callbacks I got for the school play Bye Bye Birdie. I got 3 roles I was called back for, and I ran the lines with Emily. I was able to learn a few styles for reading the lines, including a grumpy character. I was able to also fill out my Google form for the end of Independent studies.
-
Today I worked on Khan Academy, and finished a section. I hope to be able to create flash games after this class, and I most certainly plan on possibly working coding into my career. I started working on making lists without having to add the text every time and just make my own array, that's what it's called - arrays.
