After the French and Indian War ended the British issued a proclamation, which prohibited American colonist from settling West of Appalachia.This was like a "No passing" sign in order to prevent more conflicts between settlers and Native Americans. -

Boston Massacre
Street fight between a patriot mob, snow balls with rocks were thrown, British troops were there to keep order and stop demonstrations against Townshend Acts but instead opened fire and killed 5 colonist. -
A Tax on Tea
A Tax on Tea was to reduce the huge amount of tea held by the British East India Company and to help the financially struggled companies. A main goal was to not raise revenue from the colonist but to bail out the East India company. -

The Edenton Tea party was a caused from the Tea act, It was one of the earliest women organized political actions in U.S history assembling an alliance of fifty women to stand up to King George where a letter was sent stating that, in order to support the American cause against “taxation without representation,” they were no longer going to drink tea or use British goods. -
