    This one of the greatest moments. This was the moment America was founded.
  • The American Revolution 19 April 1775 to October 1781

    This is highly important because was the leading step in U.S history in which we became our own country. This is what shaped the U.S.A.
  • 1776 Declaration of Independence

    This is important to our history because to me it is what the USA stands for. It is our independance that the USA is known for it is declaration for the freedom and independence that we won.
  • 1860 Abraham Lincoln elected president

    This is highly important because this was the trigger to rid of slavery. Not only that but when the best known president of the U.S.A was elected.
  • The Civil War 1861 to 1865

    This affects our history greatly. This was an internal fight in United States from 1861 to 1865. The Union faced secessionists in eleven Southern states grouped together as the Confederate States of America. This was the turning point/ war for equal right and was against slavery.
  • Assassination of Abraham Lincoln April 14, 1865

    This event affected us greatly, this was the death of our greatest president. This also left mystery as of what happened.
  • 1879 Thomas edison invents the light bulb

    This is highly important because it was the birth of electricity and well, the light bulb. This was the first great step of technology.
  • The Wright Brothers - First Flight, 1903

    This was the start of the Airplane and is a huge event due to helping with transportation and trading. This highly shapes the United states with trade and transportation making it more convenient and easy.
  • Apollo 11 July 20, 1969

    This was the first step to outer space. And opened up a vast window to explore the great unknown of space.
  • September 11, 2001

    This event has changed our view and defense, we now have tight security coming into airports.
