After destroying their own planet the Mogadorians choose to attack Lorien and kill all of its inhabitants for the resources of the planet. One ship filled with 9 children leaves and their cepans included, they escape to Earth... -
John and the legacies board a ship to earth
The chosen legacies including john (4) aboard the only ship to earth with their cepans or chosen parents. They flee to earth. -
The Loriens arrive on earth
The 9 legacies all seperate with each their own cepan and go into hiding. The story then moves to Johns point of view. -
A few years later when John is 15
John and Henry who is his cepan were on the run from the past town they were staying at are on their way to paradise, Ohio. They only drew attention because Johns leg scars keep adding up to show how many loriens are left, they come randomly and burn into his leg. Number 3 was killed John is next since he is Number 4. -
John discovers Sams secrets
John learns that sam has a fascination for aliens since he believes his father was abducted by them, he shows john an article talking about the mogadorians john shows henry and henry drives to the town where it was published only to get himself in trouble. Sam and john go looking for him after he has left sarah his girlfriends family thanksgiving dinner because he is worried about henry. Sam and John drive out using sams dads truck. -
John and Henry arrive in Paradise,Ohio
John attends school and meets his bestfriend Sam and the love of his life, his girlfriend named Sarah. Life is pretty smooth and simple for him and henry a few run ins with school bullies but nothing major. John begins training for his legacies/powers to arrive, henry begins losing patience knowing the mogadorians are closing in on them. -
John discovers his legacies
In the midst of finding henry John has to use his powers to fight off the two big guys keeping henry hostage, John uses his telekenisis and teaches them a lesson. He frees henry, and henry smiles and said I knew you had it in you, implying the legacy power. -
The football team party
John and sarah and sam all attend the football teams party at sarahs ex boyfriends house, a fire breaks out and everyone evacuates with sarah and the two dogs stuck in the house. Sam knows John has the power to be consumed in fire without it affecting his skin or killing him he is immune. John runs into the house and saves sarah and the two dogs a reporter snaps a picture of them flying out of the house. John just made it obvious to the public he is number four. Henry is furious. -
The mogadorians enter town...
The overall climax of the story, a battle is fought between john and number six versus the mogadorians and their beasts. The entire town was under siege and everyone was involved. Henri dies in the battle and john is left alone to battle until everyone regroups. The battle was fought until the mogadorians were killed. -
End
Number six, four (John) and sam all leave town after the battle. Sarah is left with a broken heart and the town is left with many questions. They bury henry and pack their bags and leave town and the story ends.
