    Although not all snakes have this trait some have this genetic mutation given and carried down from the hydra of having multiple heads. Modern day snakes very in size, color, venomnous and shape. they all originated from one being though... the hydra.
  • 525 B.C.

    525 B.C.
    The Hydrda Evolved overtime, after not having a mate to reproduce with, to asexually reproduce. It would have one of its heads cut off and would grow two more in its place.
  • 530 B.C.

    530 B.C.
    After the Hydra had been defeated its eternal head (the very middle head) was burried and since it had evolved to be able to asexually reproduce its eternal head started to create copies of itself.
  • 600 B.C.

    600 B.C.
    The Hydra head, after being isolated for so long, had reproduced with itself and had created the worlds first known snake called the Tetrapodophis amplectus. This snake had four legs like a hydra and roamed the lands as though the hydra was controlling it.
  • 800 B.C.

    800 B.C.
    The creater that had left the hydras den was then confronted by an even earlier version created before it. they had reproduced and created snakes that would eventually become big enough to eat larger animals than themselves. This trait is still shown in larger snakes today.
  • 600 A.D.

    The Snakes had all divided into different territories after earthquakes divided them. Some of the snakes evolved and adapted and started to produce venom to easier kill their prey.
