Fun Fact
When praying Muslim people recite "surahs" which are teachings directly from the Quran. One of these surahs is called "al-Fatihah" and the prophet Muhammad once said that "any prayer without the recitation of al-Fatihah is invalid". However, the Quran was released in pieces over the years and al-Fatihah was confirmed to be one of the last Surahs to be revealed. So this begs the question of wondering if the earliest forms of prayer were all deemed invalid. -
Churches Used As Musjids

Al Rashid Mosque -- First Musjid In Canada

New Musjids
To build new Musjids, a bunch of old buildings were repurposed. For example, old churches and abandoned warehouses were all slowly transformed into many Musjids that are still in use today -
Prayers In The Modern Day
It's pretty safe to say that over the years prayers performed within the Musjid have stayed practically the same. The only time prayers have ever changed was during the early years of Islam being a popular religion, since at the time the Quran was still being revealed. This timeline sort of morphed itself into a history of Musjids rather than prayer within the Musjids since nothing has really changed. Regardless hope this was an interesting insight into the Muslim world.
