The workers are still on strike. The Duma attacks the government and they fail to respond to food shortages which is why people are still on strike.

The Tsarist government announces that there will be food rations which causes panic in the nation. This is very bad as cities will be critically low on food.

Strikes continue to increase in size and time more than 60,000 workers now join in making it 200,000. This lead to many violent clashes between the people and the police/army.

Over 500,000 people attend the demonstrations in Petrograd. The first of the soldiers from the front arrive ready to support the Provisional Government, and frightened that a revolution is imminent, are ordered to launch ambushes against the masses. 400 people are killed and wounded. The Mensheviks, hands covered in blood, eventually the demonstrators to go home.
