In my survey that I conducted, I had 2 out of 3 people say that they would give money to the cause of repairing houses in downtown Excelsior Springs. On average each person would be willing to give $55.00 (according to my survey). This means since 11,418 people live in Excelsior Springs, 7,612 of them would be wiling to give around $55.00 each. That leaves us with a total of about $418,660 raised to repair houses in downtown Excelsior. -
Invintation
In the invintation that I would give to the people of Excelsior Springs, I told each person where they should donate money. This was mainly created to spread the word of the event, to explain why we're having it, and to raise money! -
Costs
With the total estimated amount of cash being $418,660.00, I now have to think about all of the repairs and their costs that need to be done to the houses. The repairs that will be done to the houses include repairing the foundation, plumbing, electrical wiring, and paint. This will cost a total of $22,750 per house for all of the repairs which means, we will be able to repair a total of about 18 houses.
