    Jesus is sentenced to be crucified. He must carry the cross by himself up to Golgotha, up until a man is pulled from the crowd and forced to help him. As they were going out, they met a Cyrenian named Simon; this man they pressed into service to carry his cross.

    Jesus has to carry his own cross to the site of his crucifixion. once he gets to the designated place, they nail him to the cross at Golgotha, or the Place of the Skull. The soldiers cast lots for his clothes, and asked for a drink before he passed away. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit.

    After Jesus had died, a man named Joseph from Arimathea came and asked for the body of Jesus, who then wrapped him in clean linen and put him in a proper tomb, with a proper burial. A guard was also placed at Jesus' tomb to prevent anyone from stealing the body. Taking the body, Joseph wrapped it in clean linen and laid it in his new tomb that he had hewn in the rock. Then he rolled a huge stone across the entrance to the tomb and departed.

    Jesus takes along three people, including Peter, to the garden of Gethsemane to pray. The agony experienced by Jesus comes from his distress in the prayers, that he knows he is going to die. Then he returned to his disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? Behold, the hour is at hand when the Son of Man is to be handed over to sinners."

    Jesus is met and kissed by Judas, giving the mob of guards with weapons a sign that they should arrest him. Jesus was brought to trial and the high priests eventually found "evidence" to sentence Him with blasphemy. Then the high priest tore his robes and said, “He has blasphemed! What further need have we of witnesses? You have now heard the blasphemy; what is your opinion?” They said in reply, “He deserves to die!”

    Jesus is taken to Pilate, who gives it up to the people on what to do with him, for he sees that Jesus has done nothing wrong. Jesus receives the death penalty by the hands of his own people. But he said, “Why? What evil has he done?” They only shouted the louder, “Let him be crucified!”

    Jesus, now resurrected, commissions the disciples to go forth and grow the faith to all nations. Then Jesus approached and said to them, “All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.”

    Jesus ascends from his earthly life to heaven, and while the disciples are looking up, two men ask them why they were doing so, most likely angels in disguise, saying He will return. They said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”
