    Warsaw Ghetto Uprising

    Although it did not end with a victory of the Jews, the amount of time it took the Germans to overcome the Jews was very amazing. First, the stockpiling of weapons took place. They made all the weapons they could, and smuggled all the weapons they could for many years. This allowed them to steadily build up an army for a resistance towards the Germans. There first battle was led by a young boy, Mordecai Anielewho was 23 at the time. He lead a battle that would lead into at least one Jew victory.
  • Auschwitz-Birkenau Revolt

    In a scentencing of death for a large transport of jews for the death camps, a woman seized a pistol from an SS officer killing two officers. Although, the mutiny was stopped and all the woman in the camp were killed.
  • Sobibor Revolt

    This was one of the most succeful breaks in a concentration camp in the history of the Holocuast. Lieutenant Aleksandr Pechersky assisted in this escape, as he wwas named leader of the underground group. Their plan was to escape at night, kill all the SS guards while stealing their weapons to get rid of the rest of the guards. In the end, they were able to kill 11 SS guards and even more Ukranian guards. Around 300 prisoners were bale to escape although only 50 survived the war.
  • Auschwitz Revolt

    Perhaps the most ambitious revolt at Auschwitz was the work of Sonderkommando. They were the working population of the working camps that were soon murdered afterwards. Before they were put into the gas chambers, they burned down the gas chambers. They also made it out the fence and made it far into the forest. Although, they were soon surrounded by the SS. They made to kill three SS soldiers and injure ten. But, all 250 escapees were slaughtered.
