    The Invention of Ships
    Ships are essential to humans trade and travel, they have been with us through most of our history, and they are much older than you think. Since the dawn of humanity we have found ways to traverse water, the oldest discovered boat is the Pesse Canoe, which is between 8200-7600 years old, but a cave drawing which depicts a reed boat is ~10,000 years old, but even then there is older, with records of the Homo Erectus, a cousin of ours, building the very first boats around 800,000 years ago
