    In the year 1822, Charles Babbage designed the first mechancial computer.

    In 1880, Alexander Graham Bell invents the telephone called the Photophone.

  • Sputnik

    In 1957 the USSR launches the first artifical earth satellite called Sputnik.

  • Packet Switching

    In 1962, Packet Switching was starting to get developed, and was completed around 1982.

  • ARPANET

    in 1970, the first report of ARPANET was reported at AFIPS.

  • E-mail

    In 1971, Ray Tomlinson created the E-mail.

  • Portable computer

    In 1975, the first portable computer was created by Altair.

  • Queen Elizabeth II

    In 1976, Queen Elizabeth II sent out and e-mail from the Royal Signals and Radar Establishment (RSRE).

  • TCP Splits

    In 1978, TCP splits into TCP and IP. Also, the first possible spam message was also sent.

  • Hosts

    In 1989, the number of Hosts breaks 100,000.
