Peace agreement
The leaders of the UPDA signed an agreement with the Ugandan government called the Gulu Peace Accord of 1988. In which most of the former rebels were integrated into the government's army. Kony refused to go along with the agreement and did his own thing with other soldiers. -
LRA established
With the combination of his military background and religious beliefs he created the Uganda Christian Democratic Army and began fighting against the government. In 1991 he changed the name of the group to the Lord's Resistance Army. -
LRA numbers grew
The LRA continued to kill, torture, rape, and abduct large numbers of civilians, hurting or killing numerous children. Although its levels of activity dont even compare with 1997, the area that the LRA targeted grew. -
Jacob Acaye
Jacob Acaye was abuducted in a town called Gulu. He was found and introduced by the Video Filmer and put into The Kony 2012 film. Jacob was kidnapped by the LRA in 2002 and his brother was killed. -

Scense the LRA left Uganda they have been very active in CAR South Sudan and DRC. -
Obama sends 100 troops to Uganda.
In 2011 after alot of begging Obama finally felt the need to send over 100 troops to help remove Joseph Kony the leader of LRA. The president made this annocement in a letter to the House representer. -
LRA increases amount of abuduction
From March 5 to April 1 the LRA has activley abuducted 57 more kids.Scense 2008 the LRA has killed 2,400 people. The LRA size is omly at 250 fighters. THeir compasity for destruction displays 440.000 people. They are still holding captive thousands of children and woman. -

The Co-Founder of the Invisible Children and film maker was arrested on March 19. He was seen in San Diego naked walking and disturbing traffic. -

The african union will step up their commement and will unite the efforts of uganda, DRC CAR, and South Sudan. They will stop Joseph Kony from bringing suffering to the people. -
