Hawaiians are Introduced to the Island of Kaho'olawe
Native Hawaiians setle and continunued to settlle from many islands. Most of the Hawaiians are coming form islands like the Samoas, Cooks, Tahiti, and Tonga. The island is dedicated to Kanaloa. Kanaloa sybolizes the Squid or Octopus. -
Goats are introduced to Kaho'olawe and so are Foreigners.
Foreigners are introduced to Kaho'olawe. As foreigners are introduced so are goats. Vancouver a captian that sailed to Hawaii gives a goat to Chief Kahekil of Maui as a peace offering. -
The Animal Population Has a Climax
There are 900 cattle and 15,000 sheep on the island. Eating Native plants. -
Too Much Cattle
Sheep, and cattle are spreading on Kaho'olawe. The existance of them is cosing wide spread arrosion. Each year it gets worse and have a serious impact on the envirement. -
Attack on Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor has been attacked by Japanese planes.Us declares Martial Law and Kaho'olawe begins to be used as a bombing range. -
No more bombing
The navy is no longer allowed to bomb Kaho'olawe. -
Kaho'olawe is Rich
Senator Daniel K. Inouye is a defense aterny for the depratment of defennse and fights for Kaho'olawe to be given back to hawaii along with 400 mililion dollars. He also wins. -
Navy has to work for the restoration
The navy begins a project to help restore Kaho'olawe until 1998. -
No more bombs... I Think
In 2004 after the Navy ends the Kahoʻolawe UXO Clearance Project 75 percent of the land is cleared four feet down making it ssafe to be on while on the other hamd the 25% is marked unsafe -

The major clean up crew ( K.I.R.C) is running out of founds for Kaho'olawe. Where is the money going to come from? -

To make money Kaho'olawe is now opening their army camps bigger for a institute for student s to laern about hawaiian culture and all the hawaiian landmarkls there. -
Man Down
After seven students wonder off the camposs strikly marked offf they are found dead by multiple bombs going off. They went roughly 3 1/2 miles east which was marked off on the map into uncleared terrattory and familys are sueing K.I.R.C. -
Bombs go off
During another K.I.R.C clean up four people are killed due to a bomb going off when they hit soing roughly 3 feet down which was supposed to be safe four feet down. People are questions if K.I.R.C is really even clearing it? everybudy is safe now but they are in critical damage and were rushed into a hospital by helicopter. -
Kaho'olawe is Restored
After 87 years of hard work by many people, Kaholawe is restored fully. Its eco system has been restored and native animals/plants are living there sustained.
