ESEA means Elementary and Secondary Education Act. This law was passed in 1965 by President Lyndon B. Johnson. He proposed a reform of federal education policy. The Education for all Handicapped Children Act demands public schools to develop appropriate educational services for all children with disabilities. Increase chance for individuals with disabilities. Require the IEP that means an individualized education program. -
This amendment requires an early extension for early childhood children. The main point of this amendment is an opportunity for special education for pre-schoolers and infants and toddlers. It also required the state to extend the appropriate education for the little ones.

The Americans with disabilities is a law that prohibited discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life. This law wants equals rights for everybody. Prohibited discrimination in the private sector, state and local governments, employment agencies, and labor unions based on a disability or impairment. -

This law requires schools to ensure the students with disabilities have access to the general education Curriculum. Requires all states to extend the developmental delay category until 9 years old.
Allow students with disabilities to have access to statewide and districtwide assessments. If the students have been expelled from the school, they have the right to continue the services. -
