    Skinners Programmed Instruction
    Burrhus Frederic Skinner , head psychology department at Indiana University, developed a form of teaching. He presented content in small, related chunks of information. Students didn't have multiple choice questions but they had to write down the answers on a role of paper. Skinners Programmed Instruction was very popular. At this very moment, programmed instruction is popular when it comes to (digital) self study courses.
