    Creator Hollerith Tabulating Machine.Used to by U.S. Census Bureau to analyse U.S. Census data.Created the IBM(International Buisness Machines).

  • Z1 Computer

    Created by German Inventor Konrad Zuse.Binary Electrical driven mechanical driven .Contained control units and how to separate memory functions.

  • Eniac

    Created by John Mauchly and John Eckert.The first electronic digital computer.Weighted about 30 tons.ENIAC(Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer).

  • 1st Generation Computer

    first started in 1944.Computers used vacuum tubes to store data.Like the Atanastoff-Berry Computer.Also UNIVAC which was the last to use the 1st generation methods.

  • 2nd Generation Computer

    Used transistors to store data.Invented by bell laboratories.Used by Charles Babbage company IBM.

  • Univac

    The first commercially digital computer.Last to use vacuum tubes to store the data needed.Operated on Magnetic Tape.UNIVAC(Universal Automatic Computer).

    Creator of the Integrated circuit .An Electric engineer at Texas Instruments.Won an Nobel Peace Prize in 2000 for Physics.

  • 3rd Generation Computer

    Used by Integrated circuits.Creator Jack Kilby of Texas Instruments.Making computers to become smaller.

  • BASIC

    Stands for "Beginners All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code".Introduced in 1964,created by Thomas Kurtz and John Kemeny.Used on Microcomputers like for Digital equipment corporations.

  • 4th Generation computer

    Use microprocessor chip.Introduced by Intel Corporations.contained transistors.Functioned off CPU.

    In January 1975 , The First Personal Computer Altair 8800 was presented, without a keyboard or monitor.Created by the Owner and President of MITS(Micro Instrumentation Telemetry System) Ed Roberts.Bill Gates and Paul Allen soon after wrote a programming language called Altair BASIC.

    The first Desktop Publishing software.Created by the Alduc corportion.Relied on GUI,mainly for The Macintosh computer by Apple.

    The first Spreadsheet to use GUI(graphical user interface).Developed by Microsoft for the Macintosh.

  • Mosaic

    The first Internet Browser made.Mosaic allowed users to view multimedia on the internet.Developed by NCSA(National Center for supercomputing Applications).

  • Netscape

    Developed by Netscape. Based off the Mosaic browser.Creator named Marc Andreessen.
