Earliest evidence found that cancer existed was because of a guy Edwin Smith Papyrus had wrote down symptons oof the patient which is cancer and he had no cure so he wrote down "There is no treatment." This was in ancient Egpyt part of the world -
1st Treatment Surgery
It was until the 19th century till the first sugerys were first startde or beginning which helped a little bit. Now in this time surgery has advanced alot in what they do like putting mini cameras to see the cancer but they didnt have that in the 1900's so they had to guess on what to do. -
2nd Treatment Radiation
Well another treatment that had started was in 1956 a a guy named Roentgen had won a nobel peace prize for making a major breakthrough in Radiation therapy for cancer. Now we have to be careful with Radiation therapy becuase it can also damage us but with our technology its easier. -
Detection Of Cancer
Well it was in 1923 when a guy George Papanicolaou had discovered a mathod to detect cancer. Americans werent to sure about it till the 1960's when it was approved to use. Now some people still use that method but other use more technological stuff to detect it. -

Chemotherapy had became successful in 1956 when it cured Metastatic caner whiched proved it could be heplful. Chemotherapy is like drugs but it makes you lose your hair and kills cells. Now Chemotherapy is better by the drugs, less side effects, and try different drugs at a time. -

Targeted Therapy started in the 1990's.Targeted Therapy is a type of medication that blocks the growth of cancer cells by interfering with specific targeted molecules needed. This helps us use Groth Signal Inhibitors, Angiogenesis Inhibitors, and Apoptosis-Inducing Drugs. -

Well now in the modern society we have learned the cause of Ovarian cancer because 3 out of 4 women has that and it could lead to death. So theres a drug called ARHI and it basically stops it from happening so this is a big thing to stopping dangerous cancers. -
