    Kodak released it's first amateur 8mm film cameras and projectors.
    This invention was one of the first models of cameras. It has definitely improved our lives today by giving us the opportunity to remember our best memories by taking pictures and videos. Over the years, cameras have been enhanced and improved while also expanding our options to take pictures and videos with other inventions such as phones, ipods, etc.
  • Pinball Machine

    Pinball Machine

    The first pinball machine was made with electrical insides that kept track of the score and was able to kick the ball around with bumpers. It was created in 1933. This machine has inspired other games that we have today. Since technology is always advancing, we now not only have arcade games, but games for small portable devices like Nintedos and Gameboys (older) and internet and video games (newer).

    World Brain

    A British writer named H.G. Wells combined his writings with American scientist Vannevar Bush's micro-film based web browser to create a more advanced version of Paul Otlet's search engine. The combination was known as the "World Brain". In this era, search engines are one of the most important and helpful tools used on our phones and computers. Google is one of the most popular search engines today.

    The Volkswagen Beetle

    This car was created by Ferdinand Porsche. Volkswagen apparently translates to "The People's Car". The Beetle was intended to get German people on the road for a cheaper price. The price was closer to that of a motorcycle than a car. These Volkswagen's were made during the war period. Hilter was given the first convertible Beetle. The first automobile was made in the 1880's and have evolved quite a lot to create the ones we have today. The Volkswagen is an example of the evolution of cars.
  • Elektro Robot

    Elektro Robot

    Westinghouse built a robot that was responsive to voice commands and could make smart aleck comments (if they were pre-recorded). It could also move it's arms and head along with being able to smoke cigarettes. Currently, some robots are capable of doing some of the general human movements such as walking, shaking hands, making conversation, and more. But with the extensive research being done, in the future robots could be doing most of the things that humans can.
