The Declaration of Independence was the first proper statement to form our own government. We wanted to separate from Britain because of conflict. We used this start out own government in the New World. This was important because we wouldn't have the government we have today or the freedom we have today if it wasn't for the Colonist. -

Lewis and Clark Journey
Lewis and Clark got a group together and explored the west. They discovered over 200 new plants and animals, and made many maps for other people to follow. -
The California Gold Rush
The California Gold Rush was when almost of America rushed to California to search for gold. After a general found the first piece and the word got out, people started to find gold more and more. -
Civil War
The Civil war was one of the deadliest wars ever fought in America. It all started when conflict was tossed around between the northern and southern states. What really sealed the deal was when Lincoln was elected for president. Some of the southern states departed and started the Confederate States of America. This then lead to the war. 2.4 million were killed with a lot more injured. This deadly war finally ended with the confederate surrendering. -
Pearl Harbor
On December 7th 1941 Japan sent several attack planes to Pearl Harbor, a US Naval base near Honolulu Hawaii. The Japan did this to buy them time to secure east Asia before the US could respond. Thousands died and a lot more were injured. Many Naval ships and planes were destroyed. After this President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war with Japan. -
September 11th
On September 11th 2001 terrorist planned suicide attacks with four planes. Two of the planes hit the World Trade Center, 1 hit the Pentagon, and the last one hit in Shanksville Pennsylvania. On this day thousands of people died and it alarmed the government about terrorist. -
My Birthday
I was born on this day. I was the first child born in my family. I was the best one... just saying. -
State Tournament
On that day I wrestled in the Pennsylvania State Tournament for the first time. This was one of my goals for a long time and that day I was finally able to make it happen. Although I didn't place I wrestled my heart out and I had fun being able to wrestle in a stadium that big.
