  • Colonization

    The British, French, and Spanish were all attempting to colonize the new world and the British eventually created a successful colony named James town which definatly had a rocky start it ended up working out and lasting
  • Colonization food

    the main food eaten by settlers in jamestown was corn because it could be made into so many things
  • Boston Massacre

    Patriots were rebelling in the streets of Boston and red coats are trying to stop them though given orders not to shoot one does anyway and then everyone does and they kill 5 people

    the British taxed tea, a highly consumed food, and the patriots rebelled and thew all the taxed tea into the Boston harbor.

    Westward expansion was when the colonies decided to expand instead of staying in one spot but they had to really work to get the grants to go and most died on the way but those that didn't eventually discovered the east coast and lead to the sucess of the U.S

    Soup, fish, roast mutton and currant jelly, vegetables. Tea. Hot light bread, cold bread, stewed fruit. Breakfast., Hot bread, a nice hash, fried potatoes.

    The railroad revolutionized travel and it made traveling cheaper easier safer and faster. it changed wagon travel time which was 20-40 miles a day to 45 miles per hour.

    Slavery was a large business in America in the early-mid 1800s which was enlarged by the creation of the cotton gin in 1793 and was eventually rebelled on with the underground railroad was at its largest and eventually, slavery was abolished in 1865.

    soldiers in WW1 had to eat gross meat because meat was low and on the front lines they got even less
