Bennelong and Colbee
Bennelong was 24 years old when people from England arrived and claimed the Aboriginals land. These people were convicts, their leader was Governor Author Philip. He wanted to learn about the aboriginals so he told his solders to kidnap one of them. The Soldiers took a man called Arabanoo but he died of a disease. 7 months later they caught two men. One was called Colbee, the other one was called Bennelong. Colbee escaped but Bennelong stayed with Phillip because he was very curious about him. -

Most of the people that collect medicine would be the women because women were not as strong and brave like men, they also did not want women to die. Women would collect different medicine from trees, plants and even soil. Some medicines that they would use were Witchery grubs, kangaroo apples, Eucalyptus leaves and Dessert Mushrooms. -

Convicts are people who have done crime and have been put into jail. If some convicts did something very bad then they work be sent for transportation or they might have to have a ball and chain or be hand cuffed. Convicts would be fed stale bread and 1 glass of water every two days. -
The First Fleet in 1788
Just after the arrival of the First Fleet Aboriginal people were starting to loose control of the Europeans. The Europeans took over Their land and changed it too more of a European Style Farm and this changed the Aboriginals eviroment -
The Colony of NSW started
The voyage to NSW took eight months, with many hard times. When they finally arrived in Botany Bay, Author Phillip found that there was not much fresh water and the soil was not good to raise crops or keep cattle. -
Soldiers in the first fleet (People Group)
The Soldiers leader was Governor Author Phillip and he told the soldiers when to attack and what to do during the first fleet. They wore a white shirt, a red blazer, white pants and black boots. When bennelong and Colbee were captured Governor Author Phillip told them when and how to capture them. -
Governor Phillip was speared
Author Phillip met a group of aboriginals at a beach at Manly Cove. They went there to feast on the whale and gave some to Author Phillip as an excuse for being there. Author Phillip approached the aboriginals and at that second Bennelong speared him through the shoulder But luckily it was a type of spear that just speared straight through without harming the person. -

The Hunting and Gathering people were in charge of finding and killing animals. These people would have to know what animals are good to eat and what animals are nearly extinct. They would use different weapons like spears and spear throwers and they would know how to kill the animal so it does not die in pain. These people would know how to clean, cook and eat the animal.
