  • Why the British came to Sydney Cove

    The British came to Sydney Cove because England was full of convicts in every prison. So they sent some Convicts to Sydney Cove so they can build their own prison so they can do their Jobs in Prison and Captain Cook was looking after them and making shore they don't escape. Australia's first group of European migrants arrived in January 1788. They came on a fleet consisting of two warships three supply ships and six ships which carried the main group almost 800 convicts.
  • The Aboriginal People

    30,000 year Sydney Cove was the Aboriginal people's home life was rich for them story telling music and ceremonies before the Convicts came and took there land and started making new things so the Aboriginal might be thinking of hurting some convicts so they can have their home back.
  • Convicts stole Aboriginal People's weapons

    When the convicts came they needed things for safety shelter and amour unfortunately they couldn't find anything so they decided to sneak in the cave and steal some the Aboriginal people's weapons and the Aboriginal people saw them steal their things so they were planning something to get their stuff back.
  • Convicts In Prison

    A convict person was on a boat going to Tasmania because England had to many prisoners so they sent some to Tasmania.
    Every person on the boat were prisoners. By the night of 7/6/1788 one Convict escaped and went on a boat and took the convict to Western Australia so he could live a better life then in prison waiting for him to get a ticket to leave prison.
  • Convicts want to run away

    Convicts want to run away because they don't like their jobs and don't like waiting for 43 years to get a ticket to leave prison and they also don't like their punishment by getting whipped by the cat-o’-nine-tails that's why they want to escape.
  • A convict escaped and transported to Western Australia

    By the middle of the night 12/1/1788 a convict got out of his room and climb over the walls and escaped prison and got on a boat and got transported to Western Australia
  • Captain Cook named a Land

    Captain Cook sees an Island and when they arrived Captain Cook saw the place and said this is Botany Bay by the 14/1/1788
  • Sydney Cove

    Captain Cook found another land and called it Sydney Cove and Convicts started working and setting up Captain Cook's shelter all day it took them and trying to build their prison at the same time.
  • New South Wales was founded.

    17 Days later James Cook got a letter from Majesty's Command and Said that the place you named Isn't true the place is actually called New South Wales and Captain Cook was very surprised how he got this note and realized that the name he called wasn't true after all.
  • Convicts Jobs

    Captain Cook keeps an I on the Convicts just in case they're not doing their Job Captain Cook sees the Convicts swearing or not doing their Job they get whipped by the cat-o-nine-tales whip Convicts never ever like their punishment all they want to do is escape but if they try to Escape they get punishment by something painful.
  • Convicts are released

    If Convicts are Good for 43 years they get a ticket to leave prison forever because they have been doing their job and having been doing something wrong they get to leave prison for the rest of their life's some other convicts would start being nice and doing their job but some other convicts would just climb over the walls and get freedom.
