Henry VII and Elizabeth of York gave birth Henry VIII in the Palace of Placentia in Greenwich.

They got married two months after the death of his father. They had 5 kids, 3 of them died before they were born. One of them died 53 days after he was born. Only one of the 4 children survived. It was a girl called Mary.
They were happy with their marriage, but suddenly, one day Henry VIII changed his mind and decided to divorce from Catherine by telling the Pope to find out if they were cursed because almost all of their kids died.

In 1540, the King asked a painter to portray Anne of Cleves and her sister, because they were both candidates to be his wife, but he didn’t know them.
He liked Anne’s portrait, but when he saw her in person, he didn’t like her physical appearance. They divorced some months later, in July. Therefore, her reign lasted only 7 months. -
She was Henry’s last wife. They got married in 1543. She took care of Elisabeth and Ed, as well as Henry, who was severely ill. When Henry died four years later, she was widowed, but she decided to remarry an old lover. She died a year later while she was giving birth.

Henry VIII died in 1547. Some say that he died because of the ulcerated leg caused by his obesity, whereas some others think that he had congenital syphilis. Henry was buried next to his true love, Jane Seymour, at Windsor castle.
