The Lewis and Clark Journey was when two men, Lewis and Clark, were hired by President Thomas Jefferson to explore the Louisiana Purchase and the West. While they were exploring they were meant to interact with native americans, document new species, map the land, etc. -

The Texas Revolution was a war between Mexico and the Americans living in Texas. The Americans did not like the rules the Mexican government was trying to push on them, so they revolted and won by becoming the Independent Republic of Texas. -
The Donner Party
The Donner Party was a group of people who apart of the Western Movement. Someone told them a certain trail would take a lot of miles off their journey, but it actually added 100 more. Stranded on a mountain with no more food, water, and stuck in snow, they resorted to cannibalism. The only people they didn't eat were their own families. -
The California Gold Rush
The California Gold Rush was when a large group of people migrated to California once gold was discovered. They dug, shifted, mined, etc. for the gold and hoped to become rich. -
9/11
9/11 is the event where a group of terrorists hijacked two planes and flew them into the twin towers in new york city. Both buildings came crashing down and many lives were lost. -
