    Captain Cook
    1778: Captain Cook sailed to Hawaii and claimed that he 'discovered' it even though the Hawaiian's had already created a civilization there.

  • Kamehameha's Control

    1795: In 1795 King Kamehameha I began to unify the islands. Starting in Nu'uanu.

    1810: In 1810 Kamehameha had gained full control of all the islands. The battles that took place were Nu'uanu, Kepaniwai, and Mokuohai.(The 12th of January isn't correct, I don't actually know the date but I needed one)

    Queen Liliuokalani Dismissal
    1893: Hawaii's kingdom began dissolving as Queen Liliuokalani was dismissed forcefully by foreigners to resign as Queen of Hawaii. Hawaii was later annexed as a U.S. territory.

    Hawaiian Flag Resigns
    1898: The Hawaiian flag was taken down and replaced by the United States flag "Stars and Stripes".
