    Throughout the war the Haiti would hang, crucify, kill, etc to the French First Republic if they captured anyone of them.
    They would mainly hang the troops other then anything else.
    And they did indeed use the guillotine.

    The brutalist way they would “deal” with French hostages was with the guillotine. But they did stop using this in 1802. When they used this there would be a huge crowd of people just to see this creepy.

    Today in 2018 there is a statue of french soldiers to remember the war at 301 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Savannah's Visitor Cener, Savannah, GA 31401-4217 If you look in the back you can see a drummer. The drummer was responsible for music during the war.
