Enlightenment ideas inspired revolt, social and political effects as well as a more efficient economy resulting in social and political movements increasing the rights of people and the elimination of the absolute monarch in France, similar to the present where more people have the right to vote than ever before. -
“Enlightenment inspired a successful slave revolt in Haiti 1789” (scholarworks). Since Haiti has taken ideas from other revolutions like the French who protested for rights, it led them to take action and it caused a revolt in Haiti. -

They used their resources to help them expand in knowledge and create better ways to do something. It led L’Ouverture to take ideas from the European Philosophy and it helped them become agents. -

As the Haitian fought for rights it led to trying to get the people of color rights only those who owned land though. This caused a big impact because it let people have the chance to say/pick who was right for them. -
