Naismith developed the game in the 1890's as an indoor winter sport for boys in his YMCA. Today it is still a popular sport that girls have joined. Adults and children all enjoy watching this spectator sport

    Lumiere Brothers invent a portable motion picture camera a filming processing unit and a projectior. This changed the way we watch motion pictiors or now called movies, this made multiple people be able to watch it.

    Thomas Eddison uses the light bulb ,which he made, to create the lamp. The lamp was used to have longer lasting candels without fear of fire. That inspired more people to become inventors.

    Vaudevilles became exremly popular in the 1900's. Many people were able to afford the price of a ticket, and in the early 1900's, vaudeville offered the most popular shows in town. In 1910 the United States had about 80 traveling circuses.

    cars were very expensive and mostly only for the wealthy. Henry Ford created a car that non rich people can offord, by using what he called the assmblyline. Many people had bought his car. His sales went up and people kept buying them which means they need to hire and to make the cars, witch gave a job increse.

    in 1920 women were finally given the right to vote. Beginning in the 1800s, women organized, petitioned, and picketed to win the right to vote, but it took them decades to accomplish their goal. One of the most famous women in this event is Susan B. Anthony who helped a lot, she has a coin. today women are able to do anything men can do.
