    Gottfried Leibniz was a German Mathematician who developed calculus about the same time as Newton. The development of calculus helped Gottfried create and refine the binary number system. This is the base of all digital computers. He was also the popular inventor of calculators, these included the Pascals calculator, the Pinwheel calculator, and the Leibniz wheel. Gottfried thought that this universe is the best one God could’ve created. This got him thinking and philosophizing about his binary
