Which is an organization dedicated to, "identifying, recruiting, training and supporting women candidates for elected and appointed office." Gloria co-founded a liberal feminist magazine. The Ms. Magazine made feminist voices audible. The magazine covered topics that weren't yet socially appropriate topics like, demanding the repeal of laws that criminalize abortion and discuss domestic violence, sexual harassment, and date rape. Gloria became a member of the Commision of the Observance of International Women's Year. The significance of this committee was to bring awareness to the unequal treatment of women in, "the political, social and economic life of the country..."
