Globalization doesn't have an official starting date or locations but evidence proves it was after World War II, as the text states, "One view states that globalization cannot be backdated past the late 1940s, the post-war era when the United States established itself as the most powerful country in the world" (Investopedia). On an international scale businesses ask other manufacturers from around the world to produce their product. Then the business asking the manufacturer will produce those goods for a cheaper price because of cheaper wage.

Globalization has grown, but how? As the text states, "Air travel is pretty cheap...It's relatively easy and inexpensive to stay in touch with relatives living far away...Remittances are now a huge driver of economic growth in the developing world" (John Green).
