    The World Bank's mission is to end extreme poverty and to promote shared prosperity. This organization is one of the world's largest sources of funding and knowledge for developing countries. The World Bank was created out of the Bretton Woods agreement in response to European and Asian countries needing financing to fund reconstruction efforts.

    The United Nations was created out of agreement that a global peacekeeping organization was needed after the horrific acts committed during WWII. The UN works to maintain international peace and security, as well as, to protect human rights. It also delivers humanitarian aid, promotes sustainable development, and upholds international law. The UN provides a forum between its members so that governments are able to find areas of agreement and solve problems together.

It was created to guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military means. It provides a platform for companies, governments, and people to share information. Without technology, globalization would probably not be as relevant as it is today.

Major decisions are made either by ministers or their ambassadors or delegates. The WTO was established for the facilitation of global trade at the end of WWII.
