The cable service company must let you knoe that you have a right to make a legal action if any law is not being followed. The customer has the right to know where he/she can find access to there information. Cable service has to let the customer know how long they will hold on to the customer information. They had scoped the privilage of communication on electronics. It was not right for it to transmit via common carrier. That is why they eliminated that requierment for them to transmit the via common carrier. Telephone calls are soppose to be private and not heard of recorded. The ECPA wants for both governement and private access for communication. -

They want for the parents to know and verify the information the child is giving. So they child wont give information they shouldn't be. Each time a child gets access to a computer and you give information out there your privcy is in danger. An adult should always be there and be notified of what they child is doing online. -
