    Jonas goes to the annex for his first day of training from the giver. When he receives his first memory which is about sledding.

    This is when The Giver explains color two Jonas which is learns that his ability to see beyond is just seeing colors.
  • Event Four

    This is when the Giver explains to Jonas about the "Sameness" in their community and why choice is bad.
  • Event Five

    Event Five

    This is when Jonas asks about why they have to receive these painful memories, so the Giver explains to him that we need them to give advice to the Community of Elders and to be able to prevent future disasters.
  • Event Six

    Event Six

    This is when The Giver is found rocking in pain so Jonas asked to help and then was transmitted the memory of warfare.

  • Event Seven

    This is when The Giver talks about Rosemary and when they watch the video of Jonas's father releasing one of the twins.

  • Event Eight

    This is when they make a plan for Jonas to escape to elsewhere so the community will have his memories.

  • Event Nine

    This is when Jonas escapes the community and decides to take Gabriel with him to elsewhere.

  • Event Ten

    This is when Jonas makes it to elsewhere and the story ends.
