  • Spartacist uprising

    Communists decided to start a revolt. Most leaders only supported once it had started. Ebert calls in the Freikorps who crush the revolution quickly. Liebknecht and Luxembourg imprisoned and later shot.
  • Kapp Putsch

    General Kapp leads Freikorps in attempted revolution. Ebert asked Army to end revolution. Army refused and stayed neutral. Ebert gets workers to strike. Without Civil service Putsch fails
  • Rhineland Crisis

    Germany unable to pay back reparations due to France. At the height of inflation 1$ worth 130,000 million DM. People started buying things in bulk as soon as they got their paychecks. People on pensions suffered. People who had debts benefited.
  • The Munich (Beer Hall) Putsch

    Hitler and 600 S.A. Men raid a Beer Hall where Kahr is addressing 2000 people. They then tried to launch a revolution. But where easily stopped by the police and Army.
  • Dawes Plan

    System to allow Germany to pay reparations through funds from the USA
  • Lorcarno Treaty

    Germany agreed to western borders set by Treaty of Versailles
  • Germany joins League of Nations

    Given seat on League Council.
