    Based on the play by Charles Bennett - Film created by Alfred Hitchcock.
    The plot consists of a woman, Alice White, nearly raped by an artist, Mr. Crewe, she had met earlier. Whilst screaming for help and not recieving any, she grabs a nearby bread knife and murders the artist and tries to cover her mistake but leaves her gloves behind. a Scotland Yard Detective, Frank Webber is assigned to the casebut knows who has murdered him. They then blame a neighbour, but Alice finally confesses.

    Narrative- After a serious injury Jeff, a photographer, is forced to sit by his window and pass time by watching his neighbours. Soon he begins to suspect that one of his neighbours, Thorwald, has murdered his wife. He later enrolls the help of his friends and they come up with a plan to prove to the police he is guilty. The plan doesnt go quite how intended but Thorwald confesses to the police and justice is restored.
