    Due to the Industrial Revolution, technology came into play and things started getting more advanced. Therefore, there was no need for the Shadoof anymore, while there were now machines that did the work for you.

    During the Industrial revolution, with all the new inventions coming into play, Robert Fulton started getting interested in steamships and went to Europe to study more about them, which then led to the creation of the first running steamship in 1855
