The war killed between 4.5-8 million people and started because of religion, but that became less so after the years went on. It became more about who would govern Europe. The war ended with not one governor of Europe but many states run independently.

The english bill of rights is important because it gave the parlament more power than the monarch. It is also important because it went to inspire parts of the US constitution.

The Prime Minister saw the treaty as an opportunity for a trade alliance. This was very important because it gave the United States independence. Not only that, but the treaty also gave the US a lot of territory.

It is important because it reflected the unrest in the political climate. It also lead to the Declaration of the rights of man.

    On July 14, 1789 an angry mob attacked the Bastille, which was essentially a prison. The main goal was to take weapons and gunpowder believed to be stored inside. After a lot of bloodshed, the mob was successful in infiltrating the Bastille. They released the prisoners, then took some people of high rank and executed them in the Greve. This event is important because it is what started the French Revolution. It also symbolizes the start of Modern France and freedom.

    The Reign of Terror when a ton of public executions and death took place in response to anti-revolutionaries. The Reign of Terror was lead by The Committee of Public Safety and Robespierre in an attempt to get rid of anyone who was anti-revolutionist. About 17,000 people were beheaded and among them were people who shared common beliefs and falsely accused.

The french revolution played an important role in shaping modern France. The revolution ended monarchy and feudalism.
