    The 7 years war was ended by the french and indian war. It was ended by the treaty of paris. Following the war the british taxed the Americas in order to pay for its war depts from throughout the 7 years. The colonists were not happy that they were being taxed just because they were at a good economic situation.

    The british taxed Molasses and other sugars which made the colonists question why they were taxing their sugar and taking away their british rights,

    All printed items were required to have a stamp. The colonists werent very happy as these taxes were on Lawyers and Attourneys paper, and newspapers aswell. They Protested this acts and it was dropped soon after.

    The Board of customs in britian was established to get rid of smuggling. This made the colonists upset as they uses smuggling to get certian goods. In prtest the daughters of Liberty was created and they protested clothing, making there own and not buying from the british.

    The british taxed the colonies tea and made the tea in very cheap quality. The colonist protested by dressing up as indians and dumping all the tea in the bosotn harbor.

    The intolerable acts included the Massechusetts governtment act, The quartering act which forced people to let british soldiers stay in there homes whenever they wanted, and the qubec act. These acts drove the colonists into protest and start the revolution.
