The Collapse
For as of unknown reasons, the millions of universes that create the multiverse have collapsed down to one. The Collapse has affected all aspects of life. The middle of the country as well as parts of canada and most of mexico are destroyed by this event, and replaced by new strange lands. -
The day the sky fell
The skies shown as all the objects in earths orbit, except the moon, crashed to earth. This created a meteor shower like affect, but more importantly crippled almost all long range communication. -
The Initial Crisis
The relatively few survivors flee to the east and coast of america. They bring with them tales of monsters, strange plants, odd weather and other such oddities. There is a run on grocery stores and mass riots as panic spreads. -
The East Coast Junta
After the initial crisis the situation only grew worse. Grocery stores ran out of food, riots grew, the police and government struggled. With the president being out of country during the initial crisis, along with the loss of many senators and congressman the federal government is in disarray. Spurred on by 5 star general Aaron Kelly, a Junta is formed to take charge and save whats left of the east coast. -

Life under the Junta
The military juntas plan to save the east coast required the utilization of all available military personnel to enforce laws, curfews, and orders of the junta, as well as the nationalization of resources necessary to survival (farms, resources stores, industry, etc). Millions died of starvation and exposure to elements as the infrastructure failed them. This would have likely been much higher without the junta keeping some power plants running, and creating a rationing system. -
The Iridescent Death pt 2
The disease quickly spread throughout the town, with no way to treat it, and an at the time unknown transmission vector of light. An infected persons eyes pulse infrared light that when looked out can transfer the disease, though this wasn't discovered until 2038. The town was quarantined, and its inhabitants quickly perished. News leaked to the public and mass hysteria followed. For many this was simply too much too soon after the collapse. This lead to the junta tightening speech laws. -
The Iridescent Death pt 1
In a small town in central Pennsylvania near the border to the shifted lands, a young woman showed up to the doctor complaining of headaches, insomnia, and her eyes turning iridescent. Over the course of several days the skin becomes translucent and iridescent as the insomnia worsened. The body began to metabolize itself to keep the woman functioning all while producing unknown chemicals in the brain. The end result is a gaunt iridescent figure who shambles aimlessly before dying of starvation. -

The Iridescent Death plague
During this period the Iridescent Death reemerged throughout the east coast. While the Junta has sufficient control at this point to implement what it deemed necessary to fight the disease, it didn't know how. Curfews got stricter, and rations got smaller as less people worked. Many millions died over the years the plague ravaged the lands, until Thomas Griffin showed many how to heal using the sigils. -
The arrival of Thomas Griffin and the discovery of Sigils
Little is known of Thomas Griffin before his arrival in D.C. Only that he was a pastor, and the he survived the Collapse somewhere in the Midwest. What Thomas brought with him to D.C. were sigils, white tattoos made using Aureate that allowed the use of magic. Using these sigils, he went about healing those suffering from Iridescent Death plague and teaching others to use sigils. This was the beginning of the United Followers of Christ, now the dominant religious organization on the east coast. -
The Christmas Meeting
A meeting between Thomas Griffin and Aaron Kelly following Griffin and his followers curing most of DC of Iridescent Death within a week. Griffin received support from the government that allowed him and his followers to help expand, and rid the east coast of iridescent death. This legitimized Griffin to the american people, and later gave him the support to create a new religious movement/organization, the United Followers of Christ. This was the beginning of a friendship between the two. -
United Followers of Christ
Organization is officially founded, seeks to unite all christian regardless of denomination. Headed by High Pastor Thomas Griffin. Has several wings, from preaching and aid to militant crusaders. The largest parts our service and aid, the crusaders serve as personal guards to the headquarters, and later as guards to those heading to settlements. -
Creation of the North American Union State
On the 249th year of its existence, the US was dissolved and replaced by the anocratic North American Union State. Composed of what remains of the east coast of the former US and parts of eastern Canada, its an anocratic state where Aaron Kelly serves as its Commander. The people still elect representatives to the assembly, which gives the commander proposals on the peoples behalf. Local governments still exist but have limited say in resource usage. -
American Infrastructure Act
The assembly passed forward a proposal to reinvigorate the damaged infrastructure of america. Lead to the construction of the new nationwide mag rail system -
Arrival of HMS Queen Elizabeth
Arrival of the HMS Queen Elizabeth of the coast of New England. Currently under quarantine, no explanation has been given. -
The destruction of New York City
A nuke launched from the HMS Queen Elizabeth annihilates New York city, the response from the NAUS is quick and violent as multiple cruise missiles intern the ship to the bottom of the sea. -
