Culture: cinema and silent movies became popular, alcohol was banned (prohibition) and this led to many violence and gangsters. Jazz and dancing became very popular too.

It was an attack by the Japanese to the American naval base. In 2 hours, 5 naval ships were sunk and 188 aircrafts destroyed. The attacks killed about 2,400 people and about 1,100 were injured.

USA sent an atomic bomb to Hiroshima,Japan. 3 days later, they sent another bomb to Nagasaki.The bombs were called Little Boy and Fat Man. They killed more than 200,000 people.
