Soldiers had many problems like trench foot, some lived in trenches, there was terrible food and many people died. Women also contributed in the war as nurses, making weapons, and producing food. Some even fought in Russia. -

Treaty of Versailles
Germany had to accept the blame of WWI and had to pay 10 billion for the damage. It was forbidden to have submarines or an airforce. They also lost territory. -
America 1920's
Consimerism: many cars, radios, and refrigerators were produced. Fashion became very popular. Poverty: black people lived in rural poverty and immigrants lived in poverty too. Many were farmers. Culture: cinema and silent movies became popular, alcohol was banned (prohibition) and this led to many violence and gangsters. Jazz and dancing became very popular too.
The KKK dressed in capes and pointy hats. They were very vilolent and killed many black people. -
Hyperinflation
There was a crazy increase in prices. Many money was produced and it created a chaos. -
Wall Street Crash
The market dropped a lot. Some financers tried to buy as many shares as they could. So many money was lost and the country fell into the Great Depression. -

It was a tragedy that left many americans without a job. -
Jewish Ghettos
Jewish people were sent to Ghettos. There they didn't have enough to eat, they were poor, and didn't have enough spaceto live in. Lots of Jews died because of hunger, diseases, were shot, etc... -
Death Camps
Jewish people were put on a very crowded train. They were taken to the death camps were they were killed. -
Wall Street Crash
The Wall Street Crash ended when USA entered WWll in 1941. -
Pearl Harbour
It was an attack by the Japanese to the American naval base. In 2 hours, 5 naval ships were sunk and 188 aircrafts destroyed. The attacks killed about 2,400 people and about 1,100 were injured. -
Atomic Bombs
USA sent an atomic bomb to Hiroshima,Japan. 3 days later, they sent another bomb to Nagasaki.The bombs were called Little Boy and Fat Man. They killed more than 200,000 people.
