-Location was a factor, generally women in urban areas had more opportunities in factories while women in rural areas tended to be drown to the still vital and task of reparing farm labourers.
-There was a lot of opposition to women doing work that was traditionally done by men. Some of this was sexist, but some were scared that women would make wages lower for men.
-The Russina army had about 250 women that fought for them in Austria during WWI. -
Treaty of Versailes
Germany has to accept the blame for starting the war (Clause 231). Germany had to pay 10 billion (reparations) for the damage done during the war. Germany was forbidden to have submarines or an airforce. They obligate Germany to have a navy of only six battleships and an army of just 100,000 soilders. Germany lost territory in Europe. Germany´s countries were given to Britain and France. -
America in 1920´s
-Consumerism: cinema, commercials, radios, fridges, silent movies, cars, newspaper, coke.
-Poverty:poverty for European Immigrants, poverty for black people, poverty for farmers, hobos.
-Culture: gangsters, KKK they intimidate people, stopped the alcohol buying and selling manufacture.
-Women: were very important they products.
-KKK: Ku Klux Klan, a organization on the United States, racist group.

America in 1920´s-KKK Roaring 20´s
-This discussion is about the complement of passing from light into dark. Both deal with issues of race, ethnicity, religion, and national identity as foci of the culture wars of the 1920s. This looks at politics, broadly construed, through the prism of the Klu Klux Klan. In other words it refers to racial problems between the people of the United States. -
Depression in Germany 1920´s- hyperinflation
Hyperinflation occurs when a country experiences a very high and usually accelerating rates of inflation. In hyperinflationary conditions, the general price level within a economy rapidly increases as the functional or internal currency quickly loses real value, usually at an accelerating rate. Meanwhile, the real values of specific economic items generally stay the same with respect to each other, and in terms of other relatively stable foreign
currencies.

Life in Nazi Germany-Schools Women
-They needed to know how to use the things of the kitchen and how to do all the cleaning stuff.
-The women needed to stayed in their home.
- Pre-Nazi Government: women could work in lots of things, as (e.g, lawyers,etc.), the clothing was not restricted so woman could wear anything they wanted, they could chose the size of their family.
- Nazi Government: They couldn´t work anymore, they couldn´t wear everythig they wanted, there was a lot of social presssure about the size of the family. -
The Holocaust- Ghettos and Death Camps
The Concentration or Death Camps was were they send the Jews, so they kill them in a severe way. They were to like a great amount of soilders and the Jews were slaves and then they kill them the ones that therre were not useful anymore.
-Violation of Privacy, observation of people dying, being in the little space, women need to paint with blood their face and looking their children going from their parents.
-Ghettos:poverty, working for the army, with fear /scared and Jewish police, hunger, etc. -
Pearl Harbour-Atomic bomb
It was a suprise attack in Pearl Harbour, American troops were in that island. It happen in December 7 of 1941. This happen because Japan was trying to start an empire and they need land so they knwe that the land not only they were the interest country on the land it was wanted by United States and they fought for it that was Hawaii, they were rivals for land, The only two countries that were involved were United States and Japan. More of 2,000 people die and everything was destroyed.
