    Panama Gets Invaded by the United States

    Manuel Noriega, a dictator in charge of the military in Panama, was taking part in the movement of drugs. This illegal activity threatened democracy in Panama, endangering U.S. nationals. Because of this, the United States wanted to overthrow Panama. However, the Organization of American States and the Eueopean Parliament did not support this decision as they believed it violated international laws. The invasion came to an end when Noriega was arrested by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.

    Arrested in Milwaukee WIsconsin, Dahmers murderous habits ended with his arrest. He was found guilty of child molestation murder, and cannabalism. As his apartment was being searched, police found photos of his victims limbs and severed body parts. There have been previous complaints from smells in his apartment, but he had always concealed it as expired meat.

    In Los Angeles, there were four law enforcement officers that were involved in a brutal attack. Video was taken of these men beating up an unarmed African American motorist. As the video was being spread around, riots began in protests against the action. Buildings and stores were destroyed due to the fires that were set.

    The agreement was signed by Bill Clinton. He wanted to initiate other countries to take part in trading pacts. This trade pact was made between Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The signing of this law was the kickstart to Clinton's presidency.

    Jon Benet Ramsey, six years old, was found murdered in her own basement in Boulder, Colorado. This young girl's murder became known nationwide. There was no DNA found at the scene and no suspects. Although a man did try to confess, there was no evidence found. The case was dismissed in October 1999, and still to this day the killer is unknown.

    A mass suicide took place in Santa Fe, New Mexico. 39 people, all wearing dark clothes and Nike sneakers, were found dead in a mansion. The leader of this religious cult, Marshall Applewhite, told the participants that killing themselves would allow them to leave their bodies to enter an "alien spacecraft". Drinking a deadly mix of phenobarbital and vodka led to the mass suicide of this cult.

    NATO constructed an attack against the Federal Repblic of Yugoslavia. NATO's argument for the bombing was to resolve the humanitarian crisis produced by Yugoslav troops, which resulted in a significant outflow of Kosovar Albanian refugees. The bombing resulted in 14,000 bombs being dropped that took the lives of over 2,000 civilians.

    The devastating massacre took place at a high school in Littleton, Colorado. The school shooting (and attempted bombing) led to the deaths of more than 13 people. The two teenagers responsible for the shooting proceeded to commit suicide after the violent attack. This sparked questions in the government regarding gun control laws.
