socially Mesopotamia changed the world forever people now lived in the start of one of the worlds first civilizations and now had domestic animals , beer, writing systems and even had Hammurabis code which still has ties to certain laws in modern western civilization today. socially it changed the way people acted because of the rules and discipline of Hammurabis code and has even effected social ways of western culture today

2500 BCE

this improved society because now they had stronger tools in which they could hunt and fish easier and now they could expand there society because they could support more people because they have more tools and more fish and more food to support people.

beginning of renaissance

1500 BCE

Date commonly cited as the end of Middle Ages, and the beginning of the Renaissance.this was a really big point of history socially because people now are starting to question government religion and how women are treated in society they are going into the renaissance period where art flourished and people socially became more accepting of peoples differences and of women and of culture so the renaissance is one of the biggest social advances in history.

Joan of arc

Joan of arc led a small army to great victories before she was ultimately killed but she motivated the people of France for years and socially got women to have a lot of rights and acceptance in France she also socially motivated the French people after her death and they kept fighting after her death for over 20 years

First Female Writer

Christine de Pisan, Europe's first female professional writer, publishes The Book of the City of Ladies, her most celebrated work.this was a very big deal socially because people started to acknowledge that women can be good writers too and not only men. this was big for the social aspect of the time because this led to people being more accepting of women.

As a result, the empire that once persecuted Christians will embrace their religion and eventually will begin to persecute other religions.socially this now allows christian to practice there religion freely and now people are not scared of being persecuted like they once were for being christian. this changes how people socially look at christians who leave in Rome and it is now socially acceptable to be christian
