In the pages it describes a girl named Luce and her horrible past. Apparently, over the years she has seen many shadows that pretty much stalk her. Eventually the shadows kill someone who Luce liked, and Luce is blammed for Murder. The she is sent to the academy of Sword and Cross for troubled teens. -

100-200
In these pages Luce meets quite a lot of people. Arriena, Penn, Daniel, Cam, and Gabe. Luce has a startling concetion with Daniel, feeling as if they have met before, and yet everythime they talk, he blows her off. So, then Luce ends up flirting with Cam, while Arriena and Gabbe warn her about him. But she doesn't seem to get why. But, in the end Luce goes back to stalking Daniel, using Penn, who is on good terms with teachers. help. -

200-300
Here is when things heat up. Luce, still stalking Daniel, has been desperate to get in contact with her parents. She's feeling abandoned and alone and can't seem to cope with things. Luckily, Parents day arrives and after seeing them for so long, they still leave. But, an interesting thing is a fire is set at the school, and Luce is sent to the hospital. -

300-452
In the last pages Luce learns that Daniel is an angel who she has met in past lives, and that she has been cursed for centuries. She also learns that pretty much everyone at Sword and Cross is full off good and bad angels. Cam turns out to a very evil possessive angel who, in refrence from Adam and Eve, was the snake that tempted Eve(or Luce in this case.) Luce learns that because her parents this time raised her without putting a religion to her(baptising) that she can still live.
